Producing any kind of film, big or small, is a massive undertaking.
So, grasping the look and feel of the story beforehand is vital.
Scripts are a great way to do that, as they help visualize a moving picture.
By painting a pretty moving picture of it.























Context
Jaguar Land Rover opened its first fully owned assembly plant outside the UK in Brazi in 2016.
To celebrate it, JLR decided to produce a 4-part series, featuring - in the leading role - the first two Land Rover models to be produced on Brazilian soil: the Range Rover Evoque and the Discovery Sport.
All four episodes aired on TV, on OFF Channel, which is specialized in action sports and outdoor activities.
Concept
’Made in Brazil’.
The tone of the series was set from the get-go: it needed to carry an all-things-Brazilian vibe, while preserving the original British DNA that Land Rover came to be known for.
To find this balance, we asked a very simple question: which traits are Brazilians mostly known for? Once this list was ready, we set out to pick the ones that best represented the Land Rover spirt. The rest is history.
We also came up with the name of the series: '“Children Of This Land”, in reference to one of the last verses of the Brazilian National Anthem.

Context
There are many reasons a person may fall victim to a heart attack and one of them is a disease called Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS - or SCA in Portuguese).
Most people don’t know this condition even exists, which is why AstraZeneca planned on launching a campaign to raise awareness about it.
Needless to say, finding the tone, as well as the look and feel of the campaign, was a decision of the first order. Among the many materials required of us to help the company make this decision was a storyboard.
Concept
’Second chances’.
When one looks at the statistics regarding heart attacks as fatal events, the number of times a person has them is inversely proportional to the chances of surviving them. Which means, the more times one has it, the less likely one is of surviving it. Rarely does a person make it through a third time. That one’s usually fatal. That being said, the concept was based on the fact that surviving a heart attack was a second chance at life.
In this storyboard, we explore the idea of having a second chance to do things differently as a father, even if it’s towards a grandchild.
